A Long Walk to Kiddie Park

Zayd is growing up and that means testing his independence. On our most recent trip to Kiddie Park, he insisted on walking nearly all of the way. It was a good chance for him to practice listening and for me to remember that its about the journey. How boring would life be if I just skipped straight ahead to where we were headed. Besides, I had never noticed the sign for the new Witte dinosaur, the number of wonders along Ave B, and just how good Zayd is at teaching Zahra about the world as he explores it.
