Summer of Staycation: Bergheim

This  weekend we went to stay at a treehouse bungalow thirty minutes from home! Here's what the kids have to say about it:

-A scorpion fell from the ceiling and landed in the middle of our checkers game on our parents bed!

-We also got to see a lot of cool farm animals that lived on the ranch. We named the horses and longhorns: Bree, Oreo, Valentino, Bullseye, Peanut, Jokester. We named the chickens: Cluck, Brew's Lee, Mane, Tack. We got to pet a longhorn!

-We saw a wild armadillo and named him Armo

-We had smores for breakfast

-We swam with our friends

-We told ghost stories

-We had a picnic

-We played detective

It was so so fun. Except for the scorpion.

It really really was the best.
