Taos was lovely, though freezing, and we soon learned our entire spring break was going to be just a tad cooler than the weather man predicted.
We tried a day of skiing and it was hard! My one lesson fifteen years ago was nearly useless, and the kids simply need more time.
Here are my kiddos skipping on skiing so they'll can stand on a frozen shallow creek and try to break the ice.
We were excellent cocoa connoisseurs.
If we ever do skiing again, IF, we'll need a three day trip where skiing is the whole event. We can't fit skiing into a vacation where regular vacation activities exist that we might very well choose to do instead!
Speaking of, we went hiking the next day and it was gorgeous, sunny, warmer, and the views couldn't be beat.
