This weekend, we were so very proud of our fierce little lady. She did wonderfully at her Level 2 meet and made herself (and, obviously, all of us) proud! Her first-ever competition was a long, long time coming with the pandemic and deep freeze of 2021, but she rolled with the punches these last two months and it all paid off today! Beyond her performance at the meet, I'm amazed at how maturely she handled herself when not only her first meet, but then her whole short season were cancelled due to forces outside her control. Thanks to her awesome coaches and teammates at Olympia Gymnastics who prepared her so well and saved the season by finding new opportunities for our girls!!
Zahra got a 9.1 on floor, 9.1 on vault, 9.45 on bars, and 9.7 on beam. She took 3rd, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, respectively and second all around!
