I'm always encouraging Zayd to try things even if he isn't certain he can do them. He isn't one to go out on a limb until he's made sure that limb can hold him AND he has a parachute. After a long talk with my mom tonight about our sweet sensitive boy, I opened his folder and found his daily reflection. For months he's just been drawing pictures. Last week, he gave in and wrote single letters for me. S for slide. G for garden. R for read.
Today, they had a field trip and he wrote:
"I sa a lar lit sho"
"I saw a laser light show!"
He makes me so proud everyday as he conquers the world one tiny victory after the next.
