New Braunfels with Nani and Nana

This weekend we had an un-vacation in New Braunfels with Nani and Nana. It was perfect, just the right amount of getting away and new activities but bedtime here in the cribs our babes know best.

Recently, we have been reading a book where a little boy doesn't want to go to school so he becomes a statue. Needless to say, statues are a big thing for us nowadays. As are lions, or any animal found at the zoo.

We stopped by the New Braunfel's farmer's market and Zayd got to decorate a birdhouse. Interestingly, he chose a blue that is nearly identical to the trim on our house. (When Sam isn't looking) I am going to hang it on the front porch.

There is a train museum in New Braunfels that has special events on the first and third Saturday of every month. Don't miss it!

Then, Nana and I took the kiddoes to McKenna Children's Museum while our partners enjoyed a beer and some bbq ribs.

And while the munchkins slept, Sam, Nana and I snuck away for some appetizers and drinks from Faust Brewing Co.
